Why Treat Wrinkles?
Fine lines and wrinkles are an inevitable sign of aging. However, the degree to which they occur will depend on a number of things, including genetics, skin type, and environmental factors like sun exposure and smoking. Some individuals experience fine lines and wrinkles earlier in life than others, and it does not help that our bodies start producing 1% less collagen per year after the age of 20. Luckily, there are many treatments for wrinkles and fine lines under the eyes and other parts of the face.

Our Wrinkle Treatments
Fine lines and wrinkles fall into 4 subcategories: atrophic crinkling rhytids due to elasticity; creases that look like permanent cracks, such as in the cheeks and the base of the neck; dynamic wrinkles, which are formed by the facial muscles moving; and gravitational folds, which occur based on the thickness of the skin. When you come to Kingsway for your consultation, we’ll conduct a thorough examination to determine the nature of the wrinkles you’re concerned about, and which of the following treatments will be most effective.
BOTOX® and XEOMIN®
BOTOX® and XEOMIN® are neuromodulators, strategically injected to relax the facial muscles and smooth dynamic wrinkles, which also helps prevent new wrinkles from forming.
Dermal fillers are injected into the skin to fill in fine lines and wrinkles. They can also be used to restore lost volume to the cheeks and to augment the contours of the face.
Microneedling/Collagen Induction Therapy
Microneedling (also called collagen induction therapy or CIT) is a treatment that creates tiny “micro-wounds” in the skin, which stimulate the body’s natural collagen production.
Skin boosters at Kingsway combine the benefits of collagen induction therapy and deep hydration using hyaluronic acid for an effective, minimally-invasive treatment.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP uses a small amount of blood from the patient, in which the platelets are isolated for their growth factors, then applied to the treatment area to improve the skin’s appearance.
A laser treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, laser resurfacing uses tiny columns of light to create thermal “wounds” that trigger the body’s healing response and collagen production.
Full Field Laser Resurfacing
Full field laser resurfacing is a treatment for extremely deep lines. Unlike typical laser resurfacing, it does require downtime due to the depth of the treatment.
