




Dr. Rachel Ruppel is a board-certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States. She completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Immunology at Dalhousie University, and earned her medical degree at the University of Ottawa before returning to Toronto to complete her residency training in dermatology at the University of Toronto. During that time, she received numerous scholarships and awards for research, academic excellence, and community service.
Dr. Ruppel is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCP), a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (DABD), and a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association and Toronto Dermatologic Society. At Kingsway Dermatology & Cosmetic Centre, Dr. Ruppel specializes in laser hair removal and skin tightening, but diagnoses and treats a variety of different skin concerns.
In addition to practicing medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery, Dr. Ruppel has been published in numerous medical journals and is an active participant at international academic conferences, and regularly presents on a variety of dermatology topics to family physicians and other health professionals.

Dr. Ruppel was born and raised in Toronto, where she still resides today, with her husband and two sons.
Beyond her immediate family, Dr. Ruppel is a devoted and proud aunt to eight delightful nieces and nephews.
