Due to provincial government restrictions and exceptionally high demand for publicly funded dermatology services, our clinic is currently operating at full medical capacity. To ensure timely access for patients with higher clinical risk, we are prioritizing referrals based on medical necessity.

We are unable to assess or treat:

• Finger or toe nail conditions (including nail fungus)
• Foot fungus
• Genital skin conditions

Referrals for these concerns will not be booked.

We do not accept routine or low-risk full-body skin checks for patients without specific risk factors or lesions of concern.

We will accept a skin check referral if one or more of the following apply:

• Personal history of melanoma
• First-degree family history of melanoma (parent, sibling, or child)
• Strong family history of melanoma (multiple affected relatives)
• A specific lesion of concern identified by the referring clinician (location and brief description required)
