This energy is sent deep into the dermis via these controlled wounds to amplify the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, making it a more effective treatment than microneedling alone.
Secret™ RF is also an extremely customizable treatment, as both the needle depth and the amount of RF energy used can be adjusted for each individual patient’s needs. However, topical anesthetics like lidocaine can be used to minimize discomfort during RF microneedling.
Does RF Microneedling Require Downtime?
There is no downtime associated with Secret™ RF Microneedling, but you may experience mild redness and minor swelling immediately after treatment. This should wear off within the first 24 hours, but it may take a little longer if your treatment was deeper. Most patients return to their normal activities within a day.
When Will I See Results?
Results from Secret™ RF Microneedling aren’t immediate. Although initial results are noticeable, optimal results will be visible about three months after your last RF microneedling session. This is because collagen production continues gradually long after your treatment, so your results will continue to improve over time, although not forever; regular maintenance treatments may be required.
