About Ultherapy®
Ultherapy® uses focused ultrasound energy to initiate the body’s natural healing response, stimulating the growth of fresh, new collagen and strengthening the weak collagen already present. This method provides skin tightening and lifting from the inside out. The ultrasound beams pass through the skin to target deeper layers of tissue — without damaging the outermost layer of skin.
Heat from the ultrasound source not only stimulates collagen production but also remodels the collagen already present, allowing it to settle into an ideal aesthetic position while the skin above it tightens and lifts to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and sagging.

Ultherapy® can be used on several different areas of the body. Common regions we treat include the eyebrows, cheeks, jawline, mouth area, neck, and chest. These areas can be treated at the same time, on the same visit — or treated as a smaller area, depending on your specific needs.

Is Ultherapy<sup>®</sup> Right for Me?

Ultherapy® isn’t right for everyone, but we have plenty of other skin rejuvenation options available, which we’ll work into your customized treatment plan.
Is There Downtime or Side Effects to Ultherapy<sup>®</sup>?
Ultherapy® is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment, so there is essentially no recovery time, and most patients resume their normal daily activities very quickly afterwards. However, you can expect some lingering warmth, tightness, or redness directly following the procedure; these symptoms will fade within a few hours of treatment. You may also experience some bruising that will fade within a week or so and can be covered with makeup in the meantime.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Ultherapy® is a one-time treatment, unlike many other skin rejuvenation treatments that require multiple sessions spaced weeks or months apart. This makes Ultherapy® ideal for patients with a busy schedule, since most are able to resume their regularly scheduled activities directly after treatment.
When Will I See Results?
Ultherapy® provides very fast results, with most patients noticing tighter skin almost immediately following treatment. However, optimal results will appear over the next 3 to 6 months as new collagen continues to regenerate over time.
