I’ve been to Kingsway Dermatology three times now, and I can't recommend them enough! Dr. Fisher is hands down the best dermatologist I've ever seen. She's incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely takes the time to explain everything in detail, addressing any concerns I have. I've been to dermatologists all over, and no one compares to Dr. Fisher!Kelly, the managing director, is also fantastic—always pleasant and so thorough in explaining everything. What I really appreciate about this practice is that they don't push unnecessary treatments or procedures. In fact, when I asked about a couple of things, I was told I didn’t need them, which really speaks volumes about their ethics and commitment to patient care. I feel like I'm in great hands here and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I brought forth my concern on a bump on my nose and they looked at it and said “we can take care of that today…”. I can’t even begin to tell you how stressed out I was beforehand thinking I’d be stuck with this bump forever. I was referred to the dermatologist and Dr Fisher removed it without any issues. Dr. Redlick has been looking after my skin concerns for the last 5 years and she is excellent. She always takes the time to answer questions and thoroughly explain all of the treatments available at Kingsway Dermatology. I've been treated by Dr. Ruppel over the last year and she's been fantastic. Her knowledge, professionalism and patient care is everything you want in a physician. She takes her time to listen to you, offers thorough explanations and provides you with several options in care along with any potential pros/cons to those routes.I'm a little thrown off by some of the reviews that mention the clinic trying to push expensive products onto their patients. My experience has been the opposite as Dr. Ruppel has given me the cheapest options possible, along with samples of a product to use before we commit to anything medication due to my lack of insurance. It was much appreciated as it helped narrow down the medication for her to prescribe after the fact.If I were to nitpick, the initial appointment took around 7 months to schedule. That being said, I doubt this is exclusive only to Kingsway Derm.Highly recommend!

Had a great 5-series of partial-face IPL with Katie, it visibly reduced my problem areas, that being dark sun damage under my eyes, sun spots became smaller and less prominent, removed some red anginomas, and generally a brighter under-eye area than before I started. I opted for IPL instead of using Retinol, because I personally wanted to avoid using chemicals to achieve this result, and achieve it faster. Katie was very good with communicating the stages and effects of the treatment, and was responsive to my comfort levels during the treatment. Would recommend if you have sensitive skin.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Katie for 5 sessions of IPL in 2023. She was (and is) HIGHLY knowledgable, professional, conservative and practical with her applications, and VERY friendly--I miss her a lot! We developed a great, working relationship! The results of the IPL treatments were unbelievable--I noticed a vast difference in the disappearance of my rosacea after 2-3 treatments, and sunspots had flaked off/diminished after 1-2 treatments. The front desk staff was always kind, polite, and welcoming as well, and made me feeI like I was a valued and appreciated client.

I've been going to Kingsway Derm for quite some time, particularly the cosmetic centre. I've suffered from adult acne for years and developed quite a bit of texture and hyperpigmentation/redness because of it. After seeing Katie for consecutive IPL and microneedling treatments my skin has never looked better. Katie is also just so sweet and nice to chat with 🙂
I was visiting Toronto from the US and decided to look into laser treatments in Canada given the favorable exchange rate. I found Kingsway offered the best price to value tradeoff among the handful of dermatology centers I scouted in Toronto.I saw Katie who expertly handled the Excel V laser and answered all of my questions. She addressed all of my problem areas and particularly focused on the periorbital area I was targeting. Not only, the aftercare was excellent and I appreciated Katie's follow up. It's now been around a week since the treatment and I no longer have blue veins surrounding my eyes.I'm extremely happy with the results, and if I'm in Toronto and in need of a touch up, I'll surely stop by again! I met Katie through my daughter who has been seeing Katie for some time with great results. My daughter’s complexion turned from blotchy to clear and radiant. I am in my late 70s and my complexion will never have the youthful look of my daughter but it has certainly improved and become clearer and healthier after three treatments. I have had 2 of 3 IPL treatments so far and am amazed at the results. I have already seen a big burst blood vessel nearly disappear, after just the first treatment. The recovery time is short, and the results are amazing. The initial consult was super helpful, and I liked that she recommended I ease my way into the whole process, as a newbie to cosmetic dermatology treatments. The specialist performing my treatments (Katie) is super knowledgeable and has clearly performed the IPL treatments many times. She told me exactly what to expect and has been able to answer all of my questions with honesty and experience. Every session she would start with a pulse or two to gage my tolerance that day. These treatments are are a little painful (like elastic-band snaps to the skin) but no pain no gain! …they do work. I had zero down time (which I understand varies by client) & have noticed a difference. I will do a few more treatments and then continue with maintenance (very important).I’m 60 this year and wish I had considered options like this years ago.Thank you Emily for rejuvenating my face!
I’ve been both a medical patient of Dr. Marnie Fischer and a cosmetics patient for over a decade. Both clinics are well run and the care I’ve received was effective.Dr. Fischer and the other dermatology staff explain treatment options and carefully treat my trivial and more serious skin problems with understanding and empathy.
Dr.Fisher is great. She always takes the time to explain things to me thoroughly and never seems in a rush when I ask questions.

I’ve tried the Nano Laser Peel and IPL and I couldn’t be happier, especially with Katie who has the best approach. I've had such a wonderful experience at Kingsway Dermatology. From the moment you walk in with the administrative staff you feel confident that you are in good hands. I had Katie who was my skin specialist who did my Moxi procedure and she was so amazing and made me feel so at ease. She knows her stuff and you can tell is so passionate about ski. Its so important to work with a clinic that knows what they are doing and has the science experience, and knowledge to back it up. Dr. Polous is so professional so knowledgeable she is there to not only help people look their best but do it with the very best medical knowledge and best tools in the business. What sets Kingsway apart is that you actually have people who have trained medical degrees and know what they are doing. I would never go anywhere else!

Katie is wonderful ! I have been receiving various facials (i.e. IPL or Microneedling) since April and love how thorough she is. She thoroughly goes over target areas to treat redness/ scarring. Very pleased with her services and professionalism.I have noticed improvements with the skin, however, was expecting more improvements for the cost and amount of sessions received.

Doctor Fischer was great! She is knowledgeable and explains patiently while answering any questions or concerns I had. She explained possible causes, side effects, and treatment options with results. Definitely would come again and recommend to others!Only con was parking. Very narrow underground. Also, the cosmetic side isn’t as good as the Derm side. It isn’t as good as it can be. I’ve been to more places that are more advanced or have effective treatments rather than geared towards basic and fast. If you’re paying premium prices, I expect better service.

Had to get a stupid mole removed from my stupid face, and I'm really glad I came here. Dr Rachel made me super comfortable. She's both skilled and kind. I'm sure it was an everyday thing for her, but I'd actually never had any kind of surgery done since childhood, so it was a bit scary. I didn't even feel a thing though! Thanks Dr Ruppel!About the environs well, it's a very modern clinic. Really clean and stylish; more like a salon or spa than a clinic! Friendly staff as well. Also, there's pay parking in the garage below the building, very convenient. Recommended.

Great service! Everyone is friendly and my technician, Emily, was so great - attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The place is also spotless and quite modern. Also noteworthy, is the booking process and reminders you receive for upcoming appointments. Super helpful given that treatments can be spread out every 6-8 weeks.

Dr. Fisher has been my dermatologist since I had cancer 12 years ago. What knowledge and what kindness! She explains everything in details, using at times analogies and drawings to educate patients. This is going beyond the call of duty to help patients understand their conditions. She is a great professor with considerable expertise in her field. Is There Downtime or Side Effects to Ultherapy<sup>®</sup>?
Ultherapy® is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment, so there is essentially no recovery time, and most patients resume their normal daily activities very quickly afterwards. However, you can expect some lingering warmth, tightness, or redness directly following the procedure; these symptoms will fade within a few hours of treatment. You may also experience some bruising that will fade within a week or so and can be covered with makeup in the meantime.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Ultherapy® is a one-time treatment, unlike many other skin rejuvenation treatments that require multiple sessions spaced weeks or months apart. This makes Ultherapy® ideal for patients with a busy schedule, since most are able to resume their regularly scheduled activities directly after treatment.
When Will I See Results?
Ultherapy® provides very fast results, with most patients noticing tighter skin almost immediately following treatment. However, optimal results will appear over the next 3 to 6 months as new collagen continues to regenerate over time.
