What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is an advanced treatment that creates micro-injuries to the outer layer of your skin, known as the epidermis, and the inner layer of skin, known as the dermis. This activates and encourages the body’s ability to repair itself with collagen. The procedure itself is done with a microneedling device that glides over the top of the skin creating hundreds of tiny microchannels. By creating this controlled injury to the skin we trigger the body’s natural healing response which results in the stimulation of new collagen and elastin fibres.
